Prof. J. Fischer has been working as researcher in industry before joining Hochschule Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences in 2008. His research focus is renewable energy and climate change. He has conducted numerous research projects and has published extensively on these topics. He would like to give a lecture on “Renewable Energies and their potential for Indonesia”.

Volunteer non-paid position for US and Indonesian non-profit organization that combat the illegal trade in exotic birds and other animals. Responsibilities included planning and leading ten expeditions to Maluku and West Papua to stimulate eco-tourism dollars back into the villages where they stopped trapping.
